Job Summary:

The Queen's Health System is seeking a skilled Clinical Healthcare Specialist to provide clinical pharmacist services for newborn, infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.

This role involves implementing, maintaining, and providing clinical, educational, informational, and distributional functions in a fast-paced, congested, and potentially stressful environment.

The ideal candidate will have current Hawaii State licensure as a Pharmacist, a Doctor of Pharmacy degree, and post-graduate clinical residency accreditation by the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists.

Preferred qualifications include clinical hospital pharmacist experience, preferably with experience in rounding with a medical team, monitoring patient drug therapy, pharmacokinetic dosing, and patient counseling and education.

The selected candidate will be responsible for communicating professional expertise to all levels of the healthcare team, working on multiple tasks simultaneously, and interacting with patients, nurses, physicians, and the general public.
