We are currently in search of a full-time Special Needs Unit (SNU) Coordinator to oversee operations at a correctional facility.
The Special Needs Unit (SNU) Coordinator plays a crucial role in providing administrative oversight and support to both clinical and administrative personnel. This position involves collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to address clinical requirements and ensure the delivery of high-quality behavioral and mental health services within a rehabilitative unit in a correctional environment.
- A Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related discipline from an accredited institution is mandatory.
- An active professional independent license to practice in the relevant state is required (LPC, LCSW, Psychologist).
- Current certification in first aid, CPR, and basic life support (BLS) is essential.
- Ability to successfully pass a background investigation and obtain necessary security clearance is required.
- A minimum of three years of senior supervisory experience in a correctional facility is necessary.
- At least three years of experience in behavioral or mental health within a correctional or residential treatment setting is preferred.
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, Day shifts, with an on-call rotation that includes a stipend.
