The individual in this role will be responsible for ensuring optimal performance through routine maintenance of various small engines, tools, and equipment, aiming for minimal operational downtime. Proficiency in sourcing parts and managing inventory, along with meticulous record-keeping, is essential. As a service-oriented organization, each team member plays a vital role in maintaining customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough inspections of engines, tools, and equipment to identify wear and perform preventive maintenance as outlined in manufacturer guidelines. Establish a systematic maintenance schedule.
- Diagnose issues by observing and listening to mechanical systems in action.
- Disassemble faulty components, assess the cause of malfunction, and implement corrective measures.
- Keep detailed logs and records of inspections and maintenance activities for all equipment.
- Manage inventory of equipment, parts, and supplies, ensuring resources are utilized efficiently by monitoring stock levels and anticipating needs.
- Operate various light machinery and power tools while adhering to safety protocols and company policies.
- Be open to cross-training in the maintenance and repair of larger equipment.
Safety Responsibilities:
- Ensure the safety of oneself, colleagues, and guests at all times.
- Promptly report any hazardous equipment or situations to the supervisor.
- Immediately report any safety-related incidents to the supervisor.
- Adhere to all safety policies and procedures established by the company and department.
- Operate machinery safely to prevent injury to oneself or others.
- Comply with driving regulations and company policies.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- This position does not include supervisory duties.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
A combination of education and relevant experience is required.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to communicate clearly and professionally in both written and verbal forms.
MATH SKILLS
Basic mathematical skills are necessary.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply logical reasoning to solve practical issues.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
A valid N.H. Operator's License is required.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
The physical requirements for this role include regular standing, walking, and using hands for handling equipment. The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and may be exposed to various environmental conditions.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
This position involves exposure to mechanical parts, outdoor weather conditions, and varying noise levels. Safety precautions must be followed at all times.
