World leading manufacturer of printing equipment for plastic containers is currently expanding its service department and looking for 2 Electro-Mechanical Field Service Technicians.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshoot, and repair mechanical and electronic industrial printing systems.
  • Installation and Commissioning of new equipment.
  • Testing / calibration / adjustment of equipment for performance.
  • Make recommendations to customers for optimizing performance.
  • Manage various reports
Requirements:
  • HS degree, diploma or a GED equivalent qualification from a certified college.
  • Basic/advanced computer skills
  • Possession of valid Driver's License
  • Possession of valid Passport
  • Must be (or willing to be) vaccinated for COVID
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
  • 5+ years Mechanical/Electrical experience
Work Environment & Physical Demands:

As a service technician, the majority of time will be spent at customer sites. Overnight stays will be required on most occasions, per diem and accommodations will be provided by the company. The job will require rigorous physical demands. The candidate will be required to occasionally lift and/or move more than 50 pounds. Working in confined or precarious spaces is part of the job. All tools, protection/safety equipment will be provided.

Additional Details:
  • New Jersey based preferred but open to other locations
  • Traveling 40/60 up to 80/20 (traveling/in office)
  • Some Travel to Canada and Europe with most service in North America
  • Salary range $35-$45 per Hour
  • Commission on parts
