Terrain Park Groomer

Job Summary:

The Terrain Park Groomer is responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of all terrain parks and features at Loon Mountain. This includes safely operating grooming equipment, constructing and maintaining terrain park features, and supervising night-time hand crews during build projects.

Responsibilities:

• Operate grooming equipment to maintain terrain parks and features
• Construct and maintain terrain park features using a snow cat
• Supervise night-time hand crews during build projects
• Maintain and reconstruct parks in coordination with the winter plan and day crews
• Assist in digging out and moving jib features with night-time park rangers
• Communicate grooming results to terrain park lead groomer, manager, or supervisor
• Fulfill grooming forms nightly, including mountain trail checklist and Terrain Park Groomer Nightly Report

Qualifications:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. A high school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required, or one to three months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
