Job Summary

Adventist HealthCare is seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at Shady Grove Medical Center. As an MRI Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate MRI scanners and other equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes
  • Explain MRI procedures to patients and address any concerns they may have
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations
  • Perform quality control checks and troubleshooting of instrumentation to ensure optimal performance
  • Collaborate with medical personnel to obtain specific patient images as requested
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Radiography and/or Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
  • Licensed by the State of Maryland
  • Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Required within 3 months of hire
  • IV Certification preferred
