Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Nurse Manager to lead our interdisciplinary team in a new state-of-the-art 16-bed, 24-hour residential detox facility in Lynnwood, WA.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee a multi-disciplinary staff of 22 and directly supervise 10-12 RNs and LPNs.
  • Admit 80 to 100 persons a month, with average length of stay 5-7 days.
  • Ease persons through the discomfort of withdrawal over the course of 3 to 15 days, address acute physical care needs, and arrange for treatment prior to discharge.
  • Collaborate with the Clinical Trials Network and local research projects with the University of Washington.
Requirements
  • High energy, organized, and calm with at least 6 years' experience in nursing in a hospital setting.
  • Familiar with withdrawal management processes, including ASAM, COWS and CIWA applications.
  • Minimum of 2 years supervisory experience in nursing and at least 6 months in a chemical dependency detox or treatment unit.
  • Licensed as a Registered Nurse in Washington State (BA degree in nursing highly desirable).
  • Emergency room experience or at least 5 years nursing experience.
