Quail Park of Lynnwood is seeking a compassionate and organized Resident Care Manager to join our team. As a key member of our care team, you will be responsible for managing the care giving staff, developing and posting schedules, and ensuring the efficient and safe delivery of resident care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage care giving staff, including hiring, training, evaluations, and performance management
- Develop and post schedules to ensure adequate daily staffing and communicate with staff regarding meetings and trainings
- Be available for after-hours staffing concerns and coordinate care team orientation and trainings with the HR Manager
- Assist in coordinating the daily administrative and care giving functions of the Community under the direction of the Executive Director
- Organize supplies and materials, prepare work orders for the maintenance department as required, and manage the care team for completion of housekeeping duties
- Assist nursing staff in communication with residents, families, physicians, and other outside healthcare providers, and assist with the maintenance of resident records
- Supervise the personal care of residents, assist in monitoring their wellbeing and environment, and review and understand all resident individual service plans
- Establish and maintain positive and professional working relationships with residents and team members, and maintain knowledge of current OSHA and state regulations
- Observe residents for changes in physical, emotional, mental, and social condition, report promptly to a licensed nurse or Resident Coordinator, and complete all necessary documentation
- CNA or previous experience working with the elderly in a residential or long-term care setting preferred
- Current CNA license or ability to obtain as required by State regulatory agencies
- Ability to establish effective relationships with residents, family members, and team members, and communicate effectively with residents, families, and physicians
- Strong documentation skills, interpersonal skills, and organizational skills, with the ability to re-prioritize daily tasks to accommodate fluctuating needs of the residents and the community
- Ability to represent the community in a positive and professional manner, and meet all health-related requirements pertaining to state licensure
- Must maintain current CPR/First Aid and Food Handlers credentials, and annual Continuing Education Credits
