Position Overview:
As a Senior Surgical Nurse, you will play a crucial role in delivering specialized nursing care within the Surgical Nursing Service. This position is designed for professionals who are dedicated to providing exceptional medical-surgical care to a diverse patient population, including neonates and the elderly.

Key Responsibilities:
1. **Patient Care and Education:**
- Deliver direct nursing care and education to patients and their families, ensuring adherence to established medical standards.
- Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for patients with complex medical needs.

2. **Clinical Expertise:**
- Provide advanced nursing care for patients who have undergone intricate surgical procedures or have significant preoperative and postoperative requirements.
- Coordinate care for complex medical-surgical patients, managing cases to assess and evaluate ongoing needs.

3. **Professional Development:**
- Mentor and support nursing staff, promoting professional growth and enhancing nursing competencies through training and education.
