We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our team in Trenton, North Carolina. As an SLPA, you will work closely with a Speech-Language Pathologist to provide high-quality services to students with communication disorders.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Speech-Language Pathologist in conducting assessments, evaluations, and therapy sessions to support students' communication needs.
  • Work with students individually or in small groups to improve their communication skills and develop strategies to overcome challenges.
  • Implement therapy plans and techniques developed by the Speech-Language Pathologist to ensure students receive the best possible care.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate effectively with parents and caregivers to ensure a collaborative approach to student support.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to support students' speech and language needs and develop individualized education plans.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assistance or a related field.
  • State License/certification as an SLPA.
  • Previous experience in a school setting is preferred but not required.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
