Speech and Language Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech and Language Specialist to join our team at Eden Autism. As a Speech and Language Specialist, you will play a critical role in supporting our adult participants in expanding and enhancing their overall receptive, expressive, and pragmatic language skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement Individualized Support Plans (ISPs) for adult participants.
- Provide individual and group speech and language services as outlined in each participant's ISP.
- Maintain data relating to each participant's performance on individual speech and language programs.
- Model effective communication for staff and participants.
- Ensure each participant's augmentative communication devices/systems are individualized and updated.
- Enhance communication skills through the participant's primary mode.
- Monitor data collection and troubleshoot if necessary.
- Collaborate with the Director of Speech and Language Services to create new speech and language programs.
- Train staff on how to integrate speech programs into daily routines.
- Implement Picture/Activity Schedules.
- Document all speech sessions in Therap logs.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech Language Pathology (CCC-SLP).
- Licensed by the State of New Jersey.
- 2 years of experience working with individuals with speech and language disorders, preferably with autism.
