Assembler Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Assembler to join our team at QPS Employment Group. As an Assembler, you will be responsible for assembling, testing, and packaging quality products in various departments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assemble and test products to ensure quality and accuracy
  • Perform a variety of assembly operations, including setting up and running machines
  • Recognize and report defective parts
  • Work from drawings, specifications, and work instructions using required measuring instruments and gauging devices
  • Perform final assemblies, inspect, and test products
  • Maintain a neat and orderly work environment following 5S standards
Requirements:
  • Regularly stand, sit, and use hands to handle or touch
  • Frequently talk or hear and use foot/feet to operate machine/fixtures
  • Occasionally walk and reach above shoulders
  • Regularly lift and carry up to 10lbs
  • Specific vision abilities include close, distance, and color vision and the ability to adjust focus
  • 1-3 years of experience in manufacturing with mechanical assembly experience
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes
  • Ability to present an idea to a group
  • Ability to read policies, procedures, picklists, routings, and work instructions
  • Adhere to PPE requirements
