Assembly Technician

We are seeking a skilled Assembly Technician to join our team at QPS Employment Group. As an Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for assembling, testing, and packaging quality products in our Valve, Manifold, Small Parts Assembly, and Packaging departments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble and test products to ensure quality and accuracy
- Perform a variety of assembly operations, including fitting and aligning activities to ensure free action of movable parts and operating requirements
- Recognize and report defective parts
- Work from drawings, specifications, and work instructions using required measuring instruments and gauging devices
- Perform final assemblies, inspect, and test products
- Setup and run machines in assembly departments
- Maintain a neat and orderly work environment following 5S standards
Requirements:
- 13 years of experience in manufacturing with mechanical assembly experience
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes
- Ability to present ideas to a group
- Ability to read policies, procedures, picklists, routings, and work instructions
- Adhere to PPE requirements
