About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Assembly Technician to join our team at Avidity Science. As a key member of our production team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality and efficiency of our products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform a variety of assembly operations to assemble small and medium-sized units involving a considerable amount of parts.
  • Recognize defective parts and take corrective action.
  • Work from drawings, specifications, and work instructions using required measuring instruments and gauging devices.
  • Perform final assemblies, inspect, and test products to ensure they meet quality standards.
  • Set up and run machines in assembly departments to optimize production efficiency.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to 5S standards.
  • Collaborate with other departments as needed to ensure seamless production processes.
Requirements
  • Knowledge of standard manufacturing and business tools, including Microsoft Office.
  • Understanding of manufacturing processes and quality control procedures.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work with colleagues and management.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing environments and learn new concepts with general supervision.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail in a fast-paced production environment.
Working Conditions

The Assembly Technician will work in a fast-paced production environment, standing, sitting, and using hands to handle or touch equipment and products. The employee will be required to lift and carry up to 10 lbs. regularly and up to 25 lbs. occasionally. Personal protective equipment, including safety shoes, safety glasses, and hearing protection, will be provided to ensure a safe working environment.
