Job Title: Quality Manager

Briggs & Stratton is seeking a highly skilled Quality Manager to join our team. As a Quality Manager, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of quality initiatives and processes to ensure the highest level of quality in our products and services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement quality policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to identify and resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with production teams to ensure quality standards are met and implemented.
  • Conduct audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement and implement changes.
  • Develop and maintain quality metrics and reports to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance, or related field.
  • At least 7 years of experience in quality management, with a focus on process improvement and leadership.
  • Proven track record of implementing quality initiatives and processes that result in significant improvements.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • ASQ Quality Engineer or Quality Auditor certification.
  • Experience with enterprise-wide reporting systems, such as SAP and/or Teamcenter.
Additional Knowledge and Skills:
  • Thorough knowledge of quality practices and procedures, including Quality Management System (QMS) and ISO requirements.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with diverse groups of people.
  • Demonstrated success in implementing large-scale improvements in complex and diverse environments.
  • Project management and facilitation skills, with the ability to effectively lead cross-functional teams.
Travel Requirements:
  • Up to 10% travel, as needed.
Work Location:
  • Menomonee Falls, WI (hybrid eligible).
