Key Responsibilities:

1. Oversee and manage the calibration system to guarantee that all measurement and testing instruments are accurately calibrated and maintained.
2. Analyze engineered drawings and specifications to comprehend product requirements and tolerances.
3. Create fixture solutions to securely hold products during inspection and testing processes.
4. Conduct metrology studies and compile detailed reports to ensure compliance with specifications.
5. Facilitate Measurement System Analysis (MSA) studies to validate the accuracy and repeatability of measurement equipment and processes.
6. Develop and maintain programming for Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) and optical measuring devices.
7. Collaborate with engineering and production teams to identify and resolve quality-related issues.
8. Perform inspections and audits of products, processes, and documentation to ensure adherence to quality standards.
9. Assist in the formulation and implementation of quality control procedures and work instructions.
10. Provide training and support to team members regarding quality processes and procedures.
11. Maintain precise records and documentation of quality assurance activities.
12. Uphold 5S standards to ensure a clean and organized work environment.
13. Adhere to all safety, environmental, and quality policies and procedures.
14. Undertake additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing setting, ideally within a quality-focused role.
- Proficient in interpreting engineered drawings, GD&T, and specifications.
- Strong programming capabilities for CMM and Keyence measurement systems.
- Experience in conducting MSA studies and capability assessments.
- Knowledge of quality management systems, standards, and regulations (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949).
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to quality challenges.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong communication, analytical, and leadership skills.
- Advanced proficiency in the use of required gaging instruments and their applications.
