We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our established finance team at Heritage RTC. This critical role plays a key part in ensuring the financial health and smooth operations of our residential community.
Responsibilities:- Conduct routine data entry management for accounting records, including accounts receivable, billing, and account adjustments.
- Review deposit details, invoices, and similar documents for accuracy and apply necessary adjustments to all related accounts.
- Assist in all aspects of the audit process, contributing to the accuracy and compliance of financial records.
- Post journal entries to the Accounts Receivable (AR) and general ledger as needed, ensuring records are up-to-date and precise.
- May assist with mail pickup and drop-off, customer assistance, and other clerical tasks to support the accounting department.
- Perform other duties as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to take on varied responsibilities.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- An associate's degree in business or accounting is preferred, providing foundational knowledge in accounting principles.
- At least three years of increasingly responsible experience in accounting; related business school or college courses may be substituted for up to one year of experience.
- Strong analytical skills with a meticulous eye for detail and accuracy.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
- Exceptional customer service skills with clear and professional communication abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- A willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing procedures.
