Job Overview
As a key contributor in this position, you will play a vital role in the conceptualization, development, and evaluation of advanced mechanical systems and module configurations.
This role encompasses comprehensive design processes from initial ideas to final implementation, focusing on essential infrastructure and tools that facilitate a broad spectrum of robotic functionalities.
You will work in close collaboration with a multidisciplinary team of roboticists, machine learning experts, software developers, and hardware specialists, ensuring effective integration and operation in real-world applications.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering with a minimum of 7 years of pertinent industry experience, including:
- Designing, constructing, and evaluating mechatronic or robotic systems
- Proficiency in MHE/conveyor design, injection molding, machine design, and stamped sheet metal is highly regarded
- Developing functional specifications, design verification plans, and functional testing protocols.
- Experience in Design for Manufacturing and large-scale production
- SolidWorks expertise is essential
- Background in robotics and automation
- Familiarity with GD&T
- Experience handling heavy machinery or tooling
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Master's degree in Engineering or a related field with 5+ years of experience.
- Previous experience in Robotics/Mechatronics
- Proven ability to work with cross-functional teams to bring product designs from concept to market.
- Experience managing technical project timelines and deliverables.
