Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough consultations with clients to assess their skincare concerns, goals, and preferences.
  • Perform detailed skin analyses to identify skin type, conditions, and potential issues, using tools such as magnifying lamps and skin analysis equipment.
  • Develop personalized skincare treatment plans tailored to each client's unique needs, concerns, and budget.
  • Recommend appropriate skincare products, treatments, and homecare regimens to address specific skin issues and achieve desired results.
  • Perform a variety of facial treatments, including cleansing, hydro-facials, exfoliation, extraction, masks, serums, and moisturizers, using professional-grade skincare products.
  • Administer specialized facial treatments such as chemical peels, microdermabrasion, microneedling, dermaplaning, and LED therapy, as appropriate for clients' skincare goals.
  • Provide full body laser hair removal services, using safe and effective techniques to minimize discomfort and irritation.
  • Educate clients about proper skincare practices, including cleansing, moisturizing, sun protection, and lifestyle factors that impact skin health.
  • Recommend skincare products and homecare routines tailored to clients' skin types, concerns, and treatment outcomes.
  • Adhere to strict sanitation and hygiene standards, including proper disinfection of treatment rooms, equipment, and tools between clients.
  • Follow established safety protocols and guidelines to minimize the risk of cross-contamination, allergic reactions, and skin infections.
  • Build strong relationships with clients through attentive service, personalized care, and effective communication.
  • Maintain detailed client records, including treatment histories, product recommendations, and follow-up notes, using electronic scheduling and record-keeping systems.
  • Stay updated on the latest trends, techniques, and advancements in skincare, esthetics, and beauty industry through ongoing training, workshops, and professional development opportunities.
Requirements:
  • Current Esthetician license issued by the Ohio State Cosmetology Board.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience working as a Licensed Esthetician in a spa, salon, or skincare clinic setting.
  • Proficiency in performing a wide range of advanced skincare treatments and facial treatments, including cleansing, hydro-facials, exfoliation, extraction, masks, chemical peels, microdermabrasion, micro-needling, dermaplaning, and LED therapy.
  • Strong understanding of skincare science, ingredients, and product formulations, with the ability to recommend appropriate products and treatments for various skin types and conditions.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to listen attentively to clients' concerns, explain treatment options clearly, and provide skincare advice and recommendations.
