Job Summary:

Attain Behavioral Health is seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with Supervision Designation to join our team. As a key member of our clinical staff, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional addiction recovery and mental health services to clients in Ohio.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for all aspects of treatment for all clients participating in outpatient services.
  • Creating and managing program group schedules.
  • Supporting group facilitators in creating and following group curriculums.
  • Supervising and directing all treatment staff in daily implementation of outpatient programs.
  • Supervising all clinical interns according to university and Facility guidelines.
  • Supervising and signing off on all non-licensed clinical staff.
  • Ensuring all staff always remain inside their scope of practice.
  • Running and directing all clinical team meetings.
  • Reviewing each supervisee's job performance at 90 days and on a yearly basis (or more often if necessary).
  • Initiating staff corrective actions and documenting, as needed.
  • Responsible for training or identifying trainings for all clinical staff.
  • Participating and contributing to Quality Assurance Committee.
  • Analyzing data provided by QA Officer prior to meeting.
  • Preparing monthly clinical care checklist.
  • Assisting in collecting client surveys.
  • Analyzing situations and taking necessary actions per Facility Policies and procedures to provide crisis intervention.
  • Acting as a facility representative/liaison with other agencies.
  • Participating in all outpatient and sober living program meetings including staffing and supervision.
  • Ensuring completion of all weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly reports, as required.
  • Coordinating client treatment with the other facility programs and staff.
  • Periodic review of treatment group curriculum.
  • Assisting and making recommendations to Owners regarding program design, development, and implementation of treatment and transitional programs.
  • Performing chart audits and file reviews on a weekly basis, initiating corrective action as needed.
  • Reporting to Owners any unusual incidents or behaviors that could indicate other problems.
  • Ensuring that all required policies and procedures are followed, initiating corrective actions as needed.
  • Assisting QA Committee in policy development.
  • Requires regular and consistent attendance to ensure continuity of program operations.
  • Must follow up on all incident reports as an investigator within 24 hours of incident.
  • Must review all incoming client admissions for approval/disapproval into treatment based on current policies and procedures.
  • Must review all discharges with clinical team and ensure all discharge procedures are adhering to policies and procedures.
  • Embracing and embodying the mission, vision, guiding principles, clinical vision, and goals.
  • Seeing clients as a primary therapist as needed.

Requirements:

  • Master's Degree from an accredited college or university in social work, psychology, counseling, or equivalent social services field.
  • Hold licensure as an Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with Supervision Designation from state of Ohio.
  • Peer Recovery Supporter Supervisor PRSS.
  • Minimum 1 to 2 years' experience working in social services field i.e., substance abuse, residential treatment, etc.
  • Attend regular professional education classes/workshops to continuously upgrade job skills or promote the image of the agency.
