Job Title: Licensed Mental Health Therapist - Child Team IOP

Job Summary:

Veracity is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our Child Team IOP in Fremont, CA. As a key member of our team, you will provide mental health assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and crisis intervention services to adult and child members. Your expertise will be instrumental in developing and implementing effective treatment plans, collaborating with our multidisciplinary team, and ensuring the highest level of care for our patients.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans for members with acute or chronic mental health needs.
  • Collaborate with our treating physicians, psychiatric, and allied health professionals to plan and direct individual member treatment programs.
  • Provide outpatient psychotherapy to individuals, couples, families, and groups, utilizing evidence-based practices and research methods.
  • Conduct mental health assessments, diagnoses, and treatment plans, ensuring accuracy and effectiveness.
  • Develop and conduct psychoeducational classes and groups, promoting member engagement and empowerment.
  • Prepare and maintain confidential records, adhering to state and NCQA regulations.
  • Participate in departmental program development, implementation, and evaluation, ensuring continuous quality improvement.
Requirements:
  • Masters degree in Social Work, Social Welfare, Clinical or Counseling Psychology, or a related field from an accredited college or university.
  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (California) or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (California) or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (California) with the Couples and Families Endorsement within 24 months of hire.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a Labor/Management Partnership environment.
  • Knowledge of social service agencies, state regulations, and professional board standards, as well as the ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to patient rights.
  • Previous post-license experience as a member of a psychiatric treatment team in an outpatient or inpatient setting/program under licensed supervision, preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous clinical responsibility, including crisis intervention, individual, and group psychotherapy.
  • Demonstrated professional maturity and ethical integrity, with a commitment to quality of service, teamwork, and participation in a highly interactive multidisciplinary clinic.
  • Ability to complete multiple tasks/objectives in a timely manner, with a focus on accuracy in diagnosing patients and developing effective treatment plans.
