Role Overview: Senior Client Services Specialist, Employee Benefits
As a Senior Client Services Specialist, you will play a crucial role in delivering outstanding service to our clients, distinguishing us from our competitors. Your daily interactions with clients and members will help them maximize their benefits coverage while navigating the complexities of the healthcare system.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate effectively with Client Managers and Producers to ensure exceptional client service.
- Address daily service challenges, including claims, billing, eligibility, and enrollment issues.
- Maintain accurate records of daily service tasks in the Agency Management System and associated technologies.
- Assist clients in onboarding new employees by facilitating their enrollment in benefits plans.
- Support the management of billing and reconciliation processes to ensure precise billing and enrollment.
- Communicate benefit information clearly to employees, guiding them through open enrollment and educating them on available options.
- Update the Agency Management System with policy details and ensure accurate documentation.
- Provide assistance with benefit enrollment and manage document requirements effectively.
- Foster strong client relationships and collaborate with the service and sales teams to resolve escalated issues.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 2+ years of experience in health and welfare plans.
- Strong client service orientation with a proactive approach.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving capabilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- State Life and Health license required within 90 days of hire.
