We are seeking a highly accomplished and experienced Associate Director to lead our Population Science and Cancer Research efforts at Jefferson Health. As a senior executive leader, you will report to the Director of the Sidney Kimmel Comprehensive Cancer Center and the Chair of the Department of Medical Oncology.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement strategic initiatives to enhance population science research within the cancer center and department.
- Build and lead a multi-disciplinary team of researchers and clinicians to advance cancer research and improve patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with basic, clinical, and translational researchers to develop innovative research programs and initiatives.
- Develop and manage research grants and funding opportunities to support population science research.
- Provide leadership and guidance to junior faculty and researchers to advance their careers and research programs.
- Represent the cancer center and department in national and international research forums and collaborations.
- PhD, ScD, MD, or MD/PhD degree in a relevant field.
- Established track record of grant funding and research productivity.
- Experience in leading multi-disciplinary research teams and developing strategic research initiatives.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Passion for advancing cancer research and improving patient outcomes.
