Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Security Officer to join our team at Morada Victoria. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our community, residents, and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patrol community property to prevent and detect any security breaches or incidents.
  • Conduct regular safety and security inspections to identify potential hazards and take corrective action.
  • Respond to security calls and complaints, taking necessary action to resolve the situation.
  • Investigate incidents and suspicious occurrences, filing incident reports as necessary.
  • Secure and unlock areas and buildings in accordance with policy and community expectations.
  • Assist in emergency response procedures as per community policy.
  • May be required to drive the community vehicle if necessary.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • State Security Officer License.
  • One year of job-related experience preferred.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with residents and staff.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and operating instructions.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Basic computer skills required.
  • Must demonstrate an interest in working with a senior population.
  • Interacts with guests, residents, and staff in a courteous and friendly manner.
