Key Responsibilities- Patrol community property to prevent and detect any security breaches or incidents.
- Conduct regular safety and security inspections to identify potential hazards and take corrective action.
- Respond to security calls and complaints, taking necessary action to resolve the situation.
- Investigate incidents and suspicious occurrences, filing incident reports as necessary.
- Secure and unlock areas and buildings in accordance with policy and community expectations.
- Assist in emergency response procedures as per community policy.
- May be required to drive the community vehicle if necessary.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- State Security Officer License.
- One year of job-related experience preferred.
- Ability to communicate effectively with residents and staff.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and operating instructions.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Basic computer skills required.
- Must demonstrate an interest in working with a senior population.
