James Madison University's School of Nursing invites applications for a Tenure Track, 10-month full-time appointment at the rank of Assistant Professor that will focus on undergraduate nursing program needs.
Key Responsibilities- Teaching responsibilities will focus on undergraduate nursing program needs, primarily related to adult health and/or community nursing populations.
- Three or more years of recent experience in practice or teaching in adult health and/or community nursing is required.
- Experience teaching in higher education is preferred.
- Additional professional or teaching experience related to the core competencies for nursing education is desired.
- A minimum of a graduate degree in Nursing and a Doctorate in nursing or related discipline is required.
- ABD candidates will be considered; degree must be in hand within six months of hire date.
- An unencumbered United States RN license and the eligibility for a Virginia nursing license are required.
