About the PositionThis is a tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant Professor. The successful candidate will be expected to teach, conduct research, and provide service to the university and the nursing profession.
Responsibilities- Teach undergraduate nursing students in the areas of adult health and community nursing
- Conduct research in the area of nursing education and practice
- Provide service to the university and the nursing profession through committee work, professional organizations, and community engagement
The successful candidate will have a minimum of a graduate degree in nursing and a doctorate in nursing or a related field. They will also have a minimum of three years of recent experience in practice or teaching in adult health and/or community nursing. Experience teaching in higher education is preferred.
