Job Summary:
We are seeking a qualified Nursing Adjunct Faculty to join our team at James Madison University. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering course instruction in person at regional clinical sites and on campus.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver course instruction in person at regional clinical sites and on campus
- Prepare and teach courses in nursing fundamentals, medical-surgical, women's health, psychiatric mental health, pediatrics, and community nursing
- Hold weekly office hours and provide support to students
- Grade assignments and exams, and provide feedback to students
- Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the development of curriculum
Requirements:
- Master's degree in nursing required; doctoral degree in nursing or related field preferred
- Relevant experience in Registered Nursing practice
- Ability to work effectively with students, faculty, and staff
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
