Job Title: SIC Millwright

Southern Industrial Constructors, Inc. is seeking skilled Millwrights for a project in Eden, NC.

Job Summary:

We are looking for experienced Millwrights to join our team. As a Millwright, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing machinery and equipment in various industrial settings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Read and interpret blueprints and schematic drawings to determine work procedures.
  • Dismantle and reassemble machinery and equipment, using hand tools and power tools.
  • Move and position heavy machinery and equipment, using hoists, dollies, and other equipment.
  • Construct and install equipment, such as shafting, conveyors, and tram rails.
  • Align and level machinery and equipment, using precision instruments and tools.
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipment.
  • Work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced industrial environment.
Requirements:
  • Skilled in both written and verbal communication.
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
  • Physical stamina to lift and move heavy equipment.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and follow safety protocols.
