Job Title: Millwright

We are seeking a skilled Millwright to join our team at EMCOR Group. As a Millwright, you will be responsible for diagnosing, replacing, and repairing manufacturing equipment to ensure optimal performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect and troubleshoot equipment to identify issues and implement repairs
  • Replace and repair components on equipment, including pumps, gearboxes, and plate heat exchangers
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks to prevent equipment failure
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve maintenance goals and objectives
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 2+ years of industrial maintenance experience
  • OSHA 10 certification required
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical system schematics and drawings
  • Experience with commercial and industrial maintenance
  • Basic hand tools and knowledge of bearings, conveyors, drives, gearboxes, pumps, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience in machining, fabrication, rigging, and equipment repair
  • Experience with gearboxes, blowers, pumps, and pump alignment
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to move in and around confined spaces and uneven areas
  • Ability to climb and maintain balance on ladders
  • Visual acuity, depth perception, and color discrimination consistent with working at heights and on uneven surfaces
