About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Oncology Business Development Specialist to join our team at Ipsen Pharma. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong professional relationships with healthcare professionals in the oncology field.

Key Responsibilities
  • Represent Ipsen Pharma's oncology products in the US marketplace
  • Develop and implement robust territory business plans to meet or exceed sales goals
  • Develop strong and long-term relationships with customers in all assigned accounts
  • Represent Ipsen Pharma's brands in a professional, compliant, and effective manner
  • Demonstrate thorough understanding of disease states, Ipsen Pharma's brands, and relevant competitor products
  • Demonstrate a high proficiency of the broader reimbursement environment and reimbursement and fulfillment pathways for injectable medications
  • Demonstrate highly effective territory management and superior selling competencies
  • Foster team effectiveness and accomplishments of shared goals by sharing knowledge, experience, and information
  • Effective management of territory resources and budget
  • Comply with all laws, regulations, and policies that govern the conduct of Ipsen U.S. staff
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
  • Minimum 3 years demonstrated success in the biopharmaceutical marketplace
  • Launch experience in oncology preferred but not required
  • Demonstrated strong capability in account management, superior selling competencies, and proven sales performance track record of meeting or exceeding goals
  • Demonstrated strong business analytics to understand and analyze business and market drivers, and develop, execute, and adjust territory business plans
  • Demonstrated skills at building and maintaining professional relationships with key customers, office staff, and others in the customer influence network
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in matrix teams
  • Demonstrated track record of developing self to drive and enhance performance
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks, set priorities, and meet deadlines
  • Valid driver's license in the state in which you reside
  • Ability and willingness to travel by car and public transportation
