Job Description

The successful candidate will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver mid-level practitioner services to geriatric patients in skilled nursing facilities and residential care settings. This will involve performing comprehensive physical assessments, ordering lab tests and interpreting results, prescribing medications, and collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

A strong understanding of geriatric care principles, including prevention and treatment of age-related conditions, is essential for this role. The ideal candidate will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and colleagues.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum two years of geriatric clinical experience in acute and chronic health problems
  • Master's degree in nursing from an accredited school
  • Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner License (ARNP) and prescriptive authority in Washington state

Estimated Salary: $145,000 per year
