We are seeking a highly skilled Physician Assistant/Family Nurse Practitioner to provide medical services to Active-Duty beneficiaries. This is a unique opportunity to join our team at WJM Professionals and make a meaningful impact in the lives of our patients.
Job SummaryThe ideal candidate will have a strong background in medicine, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. As a Physician Assistant/Family Nurse Practitioner, you will be responsible for providing high-quality medical care, including diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of illnesses and injuries.
Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive medical care to Active-Duty beneficiaries, including diagnostic examinations, treatment plans, and medication management.
- Develop and implement treatment plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest medical advancements and best practices in family medicine.
- Participate in ongoing professional development to maintain certification and stay current in the field.
- A diploma from an accredited Physician Assistant program or an accredited School of Nursing with a Master's Degree in Nurse Practitioner (a specialty of Family Nurse Practitioner is required).
- PAs are required to maintain certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) and FNPs are required to maintain certifications from either the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) or American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC).
- A current Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) registration certification if applicable in the State of licensure.
- A current unrestricted active license to practice as a PA/FNP from one of the 50 states, District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, Guam, or the U. S. Virgin Islands.
- Maintain current certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) for the Health Care Provider by the American Heart Association (AHA), American Red Cross (ARC), American Safety & Health Institute (ASHI) or the American College of Emergency Physicians (ACEP).
- A minimum of two (2) years of recent clinical experience (immediately preceding the submission of this offer).
