Job Overview

The Commonwealth of Virginia is seeking an experienced professional to serve as a Capital Program Manager in the Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services' Office of Environment of Care.

About the Role

This position is responsible for providing project management, planning, and technical assistance in support of agency facilities. The successful candidate will identify, implement, design, and execute capital outlay and maintenance reserve projects at various DBHDS facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage large-scale operations with other agencies and consultants
  • Analyze problems and offer solutions
  • Communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing
  • Understand technical drawings and specifications
Requirements

To be considered for this opportunity, applicants must have comprehensive knowledge of state capital outlay procurement requirements and processes, as well as state and federal regulations relating to facility design and maintenance.

Compensation

The estimated annual salary for this position is between $85,000 and $110,000, depending on experience.
