Job Summary

Duke Health is seeking a highly skilled pediatrician to join our team as a faculty member in the Division of General Pediatrics and Adolescent Health. This position combines clinical practice with academic responsibilities, providing an opportunity for professional growth and development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality patient care in an ambulatory primary care setting, working with a team of experienced clinicians and residents.
  • Supervise residents and medical students in the Level I (Well Newborn) Nursery, contributing to the education and training of the next generation of pediatricians.
  • Participate in research and academic activities, advancing knowledge in pediatric care and improving health outcomes for children.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement clinical programs and services, ensuring excellence in patient care and satisfaction.

Requirements

  • MD degree and board certification or eligibility in Pediatrics.
  • Strong clinical and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Commitment to academic excellence and a passion for teaching and mentoring.
