Chief Physiatrist

Duke Health System is seeking a Chief of Physiatry to spearhead the growth and leadership of the Interdepartmental Division of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R). The ideal candidate will oversee clinical, educational, and research initiatives within the division.

This role presents a unique opportunity to lead a dedicated team of healthcare professionals, collaborating closely with orthopedic surgeons, neurosurgeons, pediatricians, neurologists, primary care physicians, physical therapists, and chiropractors to deliver exceptional care to patients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee clinical operations and educational programs within the PM&R division.
• Engage in collaborative efforts with various medical specialties to enhance patient care.
• Contribute to research initiatives and clinical practices within the division.

Candidates must possess board certification in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation and have a minimum of 5 years of experience in Physiatry or leadership roles. Those with clinical or academic interests in any Physiatry subspecialty are encouraged to apply.
