Environmental Field Operations Specialist

The Environmental Field Technician role at Moran Environmental Recovery involves working on various remediation and industrial maintenance projects. The successful candidate must be able to work in compliance with corporate policies, established health and safety protocols, and local, state, and federal regulations.
Key Responsibilities- Execute field work under direct or indirect supervision, ensuring compliance with project scope and schedules.
- Complete job-specific paperwork, including Timesheets, Daily Work Reports, and Driver's Logs.
- Understand and work within project scope to maintain compliance with contract documents and corporate policies.
- Work safely during all phases of performing job duties.
- Ability to perform work in areas of varying dimensions, involving squatting and crawling for extended periods.
- Ability to follow directions, read and understand English, and recognize common danger placards and hazardous warning literature.
- Safely drive and perform safety checks on vehicles for which licensed.
- Project work may require out-of-town travel for two weeks or more.
- Must understand and comply with company and client safety standards.
- Work outside year-round in all types of weather.
- May work in environments with extreme conditions, such as heat, cold, heights, hazardous chemicals, loud noises, and dangerous equipment.
- May be exposed to varying levels of physical activities and physical extremes, such as long periods of standing, walking, crouching, and heavy lifting.
- Must be clean-shaven at all times to allow immediate donning and sealing of respirator.
- Requires High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent reading, writing, and reasoning skills).
- Experience in emergency response, manual labor, general construction, and/or industrial cleaning is preferred.
- A valid driver's license is required.
- TWIC preferred.
- OSHA 40-HR HAZWOPER & Confined Space Entry certifications are desired but not required.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment background and substance screening process, including employment verifications, criminal search, and Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) search.
