Overview:
The Pulmonary Unit, located on the 6th floor of our state-of-the-art facility, consists of 12 beds dedicated to patients with both acute and chronic respiratory conditions. Our nursing team collaborates closely with hospitalists, pulmonologists, and respiratory therapists to deliver exceptional patient care.
As a Pulmonary Nurse, you will provide high-quality nursing services to patients, utilizing comprehensive nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. You will operate within the framework of our organizational policies and procedures, demonstrating accountability and professional growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver nursing care to patients across the lifespan, utilizing nursing processes for assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
- Maintain standards of practice and coordinate patient care activities among assigned staff to ensure quality nursing care.
- Demonstrate professional growth and accountability in all nursing practices.
Qualifications:
Minimum Education Required:
Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
Minimum Experience Required:
New graduates of a nursing program are welcome to apply.
Licensure/Certification:
Current Registered Nurse License in the State of Georgia or NLC Multistate License. BLS certification is mandatory.
Additional Qualifications:
Advanced certification in a specialty area is preferred. A Bachelor's degree in nursing is advantageous. Experience in a hospital setting is preferred.
