About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior System Safety Engineer to join our Avionics Systems Safety Engineering team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing system safety processes and procedures to ensure the safe design and development of avionics systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement system safety processes and procedures to ensure the safe design and development of avionics systems.
  • Conduct safety assessments and analyses to identify potential hazards and risks.
  • Develop and maintain safety documentation, including System Safety Program Plans (SSPPs), Functional Hazard Assessments (FHAs), and Safety Assessment Reports (SARs).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure safety considerations are integrated into the design and development process.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to less experienced safety engineers.
About You:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Senior System Safety Engineer with a strong background in system safety and reliability engineering. You will have a degree in a relevant field, such as engineering or physics, and a minimum of 5 years of experience in system safety and reliability engineering. You will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
