NICU Nursing Professional

TotalMed seeks a dedicated NICU Nursing Professional to join our dynamic team and contribute to delivering exceptional patient care in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).
Key Responsibilities:The selected candidate will provide top-notch patient care in the NICU, collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal results for newborns and their families. This role involves:
- Conducting thorough neonatal assessments, including developmental screenings and feeding evaluations, to guarantee optimal growth and development.
- Developing and implementing individualized care plans for neonates and their families in collaboration with healthcare teams.
- Providing educational sessions for parents on newborn care, breastfeeding techniques, and neonatal health issues for a seamless transition to home care.
Qualifications:
- Valid RN licensure
- BLS certification (extra certifications might be demanded by facility)
- At least two years of current NICU experience
- Excellent communication and flexibility skills
