We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Volunteer Coordinator to join our team and lead our volunteer program.

Job Description

The Volunteer Coordinator will be responsible for:

  • Recruiting, training, and supervising a team of volunteers to provide comfort and companionship to patients.
  • Developing and implementing a comprehensive volunteer program to enhance the quality of life for patients and their families.
  • Fostering effective communication and collaboration between volunteers, the hospice interdisciplinary team, patients, and their families.
Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as social work, psychology, or human services.
  • Demonstrated experience in volunteer management, preferably in a healthcare or hospice setting.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities to engage with volunteers, patients, families, and the hospice team effectively.

Estimated Salary: $55,000 - $75,000 per year
