Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate heavy earthmoving equipment such as excavators, dozers, backhoes, and rollers in various terrain, including upland and marine environments.
  • Conduct pre-inspections of equipment and maintain accurate records.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety standards and company policies.
  • Load and move dirt and materials using heavy equipment.
  • Report any issues or concerns to supervisors or project managers.
  • Perform other related duties as required and assigned.
Requirements
  • Ability to obtain necessary badging for federal bases, private shipyards, and other secure facilities.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to operate a motor vehicle.
  • Experience with simple surveying and measuring equipment.
Physical Demands

The successful candidate will be able to:

  • Lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Ascend or descend ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, poles, and other elevated structures.
  • Work in extreme weather conditions.
  • See and respond to potential hazards.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
