Job Description

Job Summary:

The Management Association, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Community Standards Administrator to join our team. As a key member of our community management team, you will be responsible for promoting and enforcing established residential property standards designed to preserve the aesthetics and lifestyle of our communities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct exterior inspections of all homeowner change and/or improvement requests to verify specifications are in accordance with community governing documents and other requirements set forth by the Board of Directors.
  • Perform escrow inspections within (7) business days; complete application validation documents as needed.
  • Conduct inspections for properties that transition from the Developer stage – specifically focusing on quality standard compliance.
  • Regularly communicate with Modifications Department to ensure effective channels remain open between the community team and homeowners regarding compliance matters.
  • Prepare and mail notices produced from site inspections.
  • Attend Covenants Committee meetings, prepare packets in advance, and record minutes.
  • Other duties and special projects as assigned.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma (or equivalent); Associate's Degree preferred.
  • Minimum of (2) years of property management (or related) experience; CCAM certification preferred.
  • Strong preference for previous experience in facilities and/or maintenance management in hospitality, property management, or a related industry.
  • Solid knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
  • Strong leadership abilities and comfort with public speaking (small and large groups).
  • Conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and address time-sensitive issues.
  • Superior multi-tasking skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Ability to provide high-level customer service with astute attention to detail and organization.
  • Must be a team player.
  • Ability to manage workflow amid shifting priorities.
  • Willing to learn Company process and procedures, and learn/use proprietary software.
  • Adaptable and dependable with a solid attendance record.
  • Professional and respectful demeanor with all staff and guests at all times.

Special Requirements:

  • Must have and maintain a valid driver's license, vehicle insurance, and driving record in compliance with Company policy.

Essential Functions:

  • Use standard office equipment, including: computer, phone, copier/scanner, etc.
  • Be stationary for periods of time.
  • Relocate up to (25) pounds.
  • Travel to and from offsite meetings.

Schedule & Travel:

  • Monday – Friday from approximately 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
  • This position may require occasional long hours to meet business needs.
