Job Summary:
Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse to join our team in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. As a vital member of our surgical team, you will provide expert care to patients undergoing a variety of procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Perform scrub and/or circulating duties during surgical procedures.
- Oversee department admissions to the operative suite.
- Maintain aseptic technique to guarantee patient safety.
- Collaborate effectively with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals.
- Monitor patient vital signs, manage anesthesia, and assist with surgical site preparation.
- Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of all surgical activities and patient records.
- Deliver high-quality patient care while adhering to safety protocols and infection control guidelines.
Requirements:
- BSN required
- Valid RN license in the state of New York.
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience working as an OR RN.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
- Strong knowledge of perioperative nursing principles and practices.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work 8-hour evening shifts.
