Job Title: Operating Room Registered Nurse

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Operating Room Registered Nurse to join our team at i4 Search Group Healthcare. As an OR RN, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our surgical services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess patients prior to surgery and address their concerns.
  • Prepare the Operating Room with necessary supplies, implants, and equipment.
  • Maintain a sterile environment throughout the surgical procedure.
  • Position and prepare patients on the operating table.
  • Pass medical instruments to surgeons during operations.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and detect any anomalies.
  • Evaluate patients in postoperative phases.
  • Review charts for completeness and adhere to documentation protocols.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, teammates, and physicians to ensure continuity of care.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 1 year of recent experience as an RN in a clinical setting.
  • Active RN license within the State of practice.
  • Current certifications (variable depending on the facility).
  • Proven experience as an operating room nurse (circulating and scrub).
  • In-depth knowledge of surgical operation procedures.
  • Excellent knowledge of aseptic and sterile techniques.
  • Solid understanding of patient safety and precautions.
  • Compassionate and friendly personality.
  • Critical thinker and problem solver.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
