Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Instrumentation & Control Automation Lead to join our team. As a key member of our IE&A department, you will be responsible for overseeing the commissioning and start-up activities for our production facilities, drill-sites, seawater treatment plants, and other associated equipment.

Your primary focus will be on ensuring safe, effective, and efficient operations through close collaboration with our Operations & Maintenance Manager. You will also lead IE&A commissioning activities, system testing, and facilitate the transition from commissioning to full-scale operations.

This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the development of a state-of-the-art facility and shape its operational success.


Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities
  1. Collaborate with engineering and construction teams to understand project specifications, design, and equipment.
  2. Oversee and direct IE&A technicians in plan inspection, commissioning support, and troubleshooting control of instrumentation and fire & gas equipment.
  3. Manage and provide daily/weekly reports to the Commissioning Manager and raise any concerns that may affect handover.
  4. Organize resources to conduct walks-downs as required, representing the I&C STO commissioning discipline.

Requirements
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in the oil and gas industry and capital projects.
  • Strong understanding of Instrument & Control theory, work methods, tools, and testing equipment used in the commissioning of Oil/Gas Facilities.
  • Experience in both design and commissioning, along with managerial skills.
  • Ability to adapt to changing deadlines and achieve project goals and milestones.
  • Proficient in Control Logic Schemes, Process Automation, and Demonstrated Health, Safety, and Environmental Awareness.
