The Solutions Architect for Transformation Initiatives plays a pivotal role within Acrisure's Transformation Office, collaborating closely with various business sectors and the enterprise as a whole. This position involves a deep understanding of governance frameworks, operational processes, and information systems to engineer and align current processes with future state designs. The focus lies on business platforms, operational frameworks, analytical methodologies, and the interconnected networks that unify these elements within the enterprise. The Solutions Architect is tasked with developing a comprehensive view of the organization through a systematic approach, cohesive frameworks, and industry-standard methodologies. They will lead initiatives to foster strong relationships with internal stakeholders, providing the Transformation Office and Acrisure leadership with essential insights for informed decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Guide diverse regions, platforms, and leadership towards an optimal process and technology model, emphasizing effective change management to support organizational goals.
  • Collaborate closely with counterparts in the Transformation Office, Platforms, Operations, and IT to synchronize process enhancements with technical solutions.
  • Formulate a solutions architecture strategy that reflects an awareness of various business scenarios, stakeholders, and their motivations.
  • Implement a structured solutions engineering methodology to capture both current and future state perspectives of the enterprise.
  • Identify and document the strategic business objectives that ensure traceability throughout the organization, aligning them with metrics for ongoing governance.
  • Detail the primary business functions, distinguishing between customer-facing, platform-related, and IT functions.
  • Define the strategic, core, and support processes that cross functional and organizational boundaries, identifying external entities such as customers and suppliers that interact with the business.
  • Collaborate with technology partners to establish data relationships shared across the enterprise.
  • Map the relationships among roles, capabilities, and business units, detailing the decomposition of these units into subunits and their management.
  • Work alongside the PMO to translate technical requirements into actionable business deliverables.
  • Partner with the Transformation Office to drive process enhancements and scalable solutions across a complex ecosystem of business lines.
  • Engage closely with communication, training, and branding resources within the Transformation Office to facilitate enduring change and keep stakeholders informed.
  • Oversee and enhance the capabilities of their team, ensuring that solution objectives are met.

Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Information Technology or a related field, with a minimum of 5 years of experience leading significant process engineering transformation efforts.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience and indirect team management of cross-functional resources.
  • A comprehensive, enterprise-wide perspective on business strategy, processes, capabilities, enabling technologies, and governance.
  • Experience identifying structural challenges within organizations, recognizing functional interdependencies and cross-silo redundancies.
  • Ability to apply architectural principles to business solutions effectively.
  • Skill in synthesizing and correlating disparate documentation to highlight their relevance to high-priority business issues.
  • Experience utilizing model-based representations to collect and analyze complex and conflicting business information.
  • Capability to visualize and create high-level models for future business architecture analysis.
  • Extensive experience in planning and executing both business and IT initiatives.
  • Proficient in modeling business processes using various tools and techniques.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office, SharePoint, business process management, and business intelligence tools.
  • Project management experience is preferred.
