Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Transformation Solutions Architect to join our Transformation Office. This role will play a key part in partnering with business verticals and the overall enterprise to understand governance structures, business processes, and information systems. The successful candidate will engineer and align current to future-state process and system design, making strategic decisions regarding products, services, partners, OKRs, capabilities, and key IT initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guide multiple geographies, platforms, and leaders to an optimal process and technology model with exceptional change management application to support the organization.
  • Work closely with counterparts in the Transformation Office, Platforms, Operations, and IT to align process improvements to technical solutions.
  • Develop a solutions architecture strategy based on situational awareness of various business scenarios, stakeholders, and motivations.
  • Apply a structured solutions engineering approach and methodology for capturing key current and future-state views of the enterprise.
  • Capture tactical and strategic business goals that provide traceability through the organization and are mapped to metrics that provide ongoing governance.
  • Document primary business functions of the enterprise and distinguish between customer-facing, platform-related, and information technology functions.
  • Define strategic, core, and support processes that transcend functional and organizational boundaries; identify and describe external entities such as customers, suppliers, and external systems that interact with the business; and describe which people, resources, and controls are involved in the processes.
  • Work with technology partners to define data shared across the enterprise and relationships between that data.
  • Capture relationships among roles, capabilities, and business units, the decomposition of those business units into subunits, and the internal or external management of those units.
  • Partner with the PMO to translate technical requirements to actionable business deliverables.
  • Work with the Transformation Office to drive process improvement and scalable solutions that work across a complex ecosystem of business lines and verticals.
  • Partner closely with Transformation Office communication, training, and branding resources to help drive lasting change and keep stakeholders informed throughout the organization.
  • Oversee and build the capability of their team, ensuring solutions goals are reached.

  • Team player able to work effectively at all levels of an organization with the ability to influence others to move toward consensus.
  • Strong situational analysis and decision-making abilities.
Education/Experience
  • Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Information Technology or related field and 5+ years of experience leading large process engineering transformational efforts.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience and indirect team leadership of cross-functional resources.
  • Broad, enterprise-wide view of the business and varying degrees of appreciation for strategy, processes, and capabilities, enabling technologies, and governance.
  • Experience recognizing structural issues within the organization, functional interdependencies, and cross-silo redundancies.
  • The ability to apply architectural principles to business solutions.
  • The ability to assimilate and correlate disconnected documentation and articulate their collective relevance to the organization and to high-priority business issues.
  • Experience using model-based representations that can be adjusted as required to collect, aggregate, or disaggregate complex and conflicting information about the business.
  • The ability to visualize and create high-level models that can be used in future analysis to extend and mature the business architecture.
  • Extensive experience planning and deploying both business and IT initiatives.
  • Experience modeling business processes using a variety of tools and techniques.
  • Advanced user of MS Office, SharePoint, business process management, and business intelligence tools.
  • Project management experience preferred.
