Responsibilities of a Hospice Aide / CNA:

  • Deliver services as outlined in each patient's Hospice Aide care plan.
  • Assist patients in safely executing incidental and instrumental daily living activities.
  • Typical duties may include:
  • Providing personal care such as bathing, oral hygiene, hair care, and skin care.
  • Assisting patients with dressing and undressing.
  • Supporting patients during meal times.
  • Changing incontinence products as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in SC and willingness to travel.
  • Previous experience in hospice care is preferred.
  • Must provide proof of valid auto liability insurance if duties include driving to transport patients.
