Patient Access Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled Patient Access Representative to join our team at Guidehouse. As a Patient Access Representative, you will play a critical role in ensuring a high level of customer service and providing efficient, timely registration services to patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities- Provide exceptional customer service to patients, families, and staff, creating a positive impression and ensuring a seamless registration experience.
- Assist patients and their families in accessing services, acting as an advocate and navigator until the patient is handed off to clinical staff.
- Perform pre-admitting, admitting, and registering tasks, routing or escorting patients, family members, or visitors as needed.
- Work collaboratively with clinical staff to ensure accurate and timely registration of patients.
- High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
- One year or more of prior relevant experience in a medical, clinical, or customer service setting.
- One year of Patient Access experience.
- One year of Customer Service experience.
- Data Entry experience.
- Familiarity with health plans and insurance.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish.
