Job Description:
As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at D-H Lebanon-MHMH, you will play a vital role in providing general nursing care to patients within the scope of your licensure. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Utilizing the nursing process to facilitate continuing health care to individuals, families, and community.
  • Identifying common and recurring nursing needs of the patient.
  • Recognizing the need for and performing routine office procedures and testing.
  • Assisting patients to achieve basic health care goals.
  • Identifying patient education needs, providing instruction or referring appropriately.
  • Assisting staff in institutional quality improvement measures and office standards of practice.
  • Providing telephone advice to patients per physician specific protocols; refers patients appropriately.
  • Participating in staff meetings.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Graduate of an accredited school of practical nursing.
